The rate things are going you may have to settle for living close to one.I am not sure of your definition of forest but there are still many around that I would consider forest but whether or not you can actually live in one is another thing.I dont know if you can own land in the National Forest here in the U.S. or not,but there are many rural areas that are pretty secluded yet in just about any state.I guess it would depend on how old you were going to be at the time you plan on living in a forest or the situation at that time.Good Luck

I'll sell you my house. I live on the edge of conservation land, behind my house is a hardwood w/some white pines forest. I regularly have deer/turkeys/fox/coyotes in the woods behind my house. I live one mile from the Atlantic Ocean and about 5 miles from I-95.
