Here are some pictures of me. What should I do with my hair?

Soooo, for the past 4 years my mom has been making me get the same highlights and and haircut. I think my hair's too long and very boring. Yesterday my mom surprised me with a fancy salon appointment scheduled 2 hours from now. I still have no idea what I want to do!
I originally wanted to go light brown, my natural color, get a few inches taken off, and more layers. My friends think I'll look retarded with brown hair and like the length of my hair.

Sorry about the ugly, these are the only pictures that you can like see my face and hair. =p

Also, today my best friend and I were talking about getting the ends a different color. It's something very popular at my school. Like if you have blonde hair you get it a few shades darker on the tips or brown.

What do you think I should have done?

You're super cute! You could pretty much do anything to your hair and still look beautiful, just don't do anything "crazy" like cutting it all off, or getting some punk style 'cause that would look whack. But in any case, you have almost nothing to worry about as far as your looks are concerned.

You are gorgeous, you look identical to the girl Michelle on last seasons America's Next Top Model. I recommend light brown, natural is better, it looks more real. Also, light brown will match your eyebrows and make your eyes pop. I recommend light brown with some lighter highlights, but don't go too light. Make sure it looks natural, nobody likes a fake looking color. I'm not too sure I like the different color on the ends, but if you like it, go for it! I recommend cutting your hair to shoulder length. It feels refreshing and your head feels light, plus it will grow back to your long length again. Go for a different look, it can always grow out for you to change it. Get some layers to add volume, and I recommend a face frame. I always get face frames, it is a gradual cut along your face to highlight your face, and you'll have shorter pieces in the front which always looks cute!

I think it would look fine as a light brown but if you want to do the hair style that you say is 'in style' then my idea is shorten it slightly get the top majority a light or dark brown and keep the tips the blond you had before, that way you are the same but are also not completly 'going with the croud'

Whatever you do, don't get something because its "very popular" at school. You'll end up like a clone. You are a gorgeous girl and I think that brown hair would be perfect for your skin tone, especially darker brown hair. Here's a picture of what I think would be great on you:

Go darker, a light brown with darker brown at the tips. Have it cut in layers with some angles towards your face..

try getting some layers, blonde is still cute. You can get a light golden brown color with lowlights of bronze. The brown color tone will make you really cute, more than you are right now.

I think your eyes are beautiful and you should show them off by getting your hair dark like brown or even black and shortend a little bit and some wave for the body of the hair. Then you would look smokin hot...even though you look good already of course

I don't know why, but I think that a deep shade of reddish-brown would look really good. Maybe a lighter red on top and a darker red on the bottom. good luck and if you still don't know, ask your hairstylist for advice. She / he might have pictures or some knowledge that we might not have. Good luck!

Hi,in the North East the fashion is dark on the top & light at the bottom.Its about the same has the length of your hair.

i think that you would look great with dark brown hair. if you want to do the ends a different color, you should make them an even darker brown or maybe black. hope that helps!
