One time when I was a kid, I had to go to the bathroom so I got out of bed and walked into the hallway, and when I stepped into the hall, I heard some kind of crumbling/breaking type sound from above my doorway, and I looked up and there was something breaking through the wall, and a tentacle broke through the wall, wrapped around the vaccuum cleaner, which turned on, and then vaccuumed the hallway. Then it went back into the wall and I ran screaming into the living room. Went back in to look with my parents and the vaccuum wasn't there and the wall was fine. Ooooh scary! Oh and then there was the time I was standing in the doorway of my brother's room and mom & my bro were talking and I happened to look down and there was an alien's arm sticking out from under his bed. I was froze stiff. Finally turned and after awhile was able to get it out what I was trying to say... but by the time we looked, it was gone.

Ok, get this:
My parents made me watch Halloween when i was five years old, because it's such a "classic" I totally love the movies now, but when i was young, i was sooooo scared of michael meyers that i slept with a long metal pole under my bed. I used to have nightmares that Michael Meyers would break through my window and grab me before anyone could save me. I'm not sure what it was. I had a thing with all of the MASKED murderers for some reason. Also i hated the fact that they were dang near invincible. Blah, still kinda creeps me out..the scenes in that movie...argh

The monster from my childhood looked like a person from pet cemetary. Azombie looking guy around 6 ft 5 and very dead looking. It was so sureal to at the time and its crazy that I fully remember it.

I didn't have a monster. But sometimes when I was walking to school really early for basketball practice or something I would pretend there was a shark chasing me so I would run really fast.

Mine looked like Bigfoot. I saw an episode of "In Search of" narrated by Leonard Nemoy when I was a small girl, about Bigfoot, and it scared the crap out of me.

once, i had a dream that there was a monster with one eye..and he backed me into an alley. and the monster wanted me to only have one eye.
so when i woke up, i checked if i could see from both eyes

Brown-skinned aliens. The ones from the film "A fire in the sky". Saw it way too young. Good god, I still have trouble sleeping at night.
