I get free formula through WIC, right now, I don't have very much money, and my husband needs money for gas to make it to work, so I 'm trying to sell some of the formula on craigslist to make a little extra cash to have on the side (two 12.9 oz cans for $10) . Is it reasonable? I'm not trying to rip people off, I just need the money. Please give your honest opinion. Thanks.

God Bless :)

Do what needs to be done in order to survive. Just don't make a habit of it...

Bad idea. It's fraud and if you get caught, not only will you lose all that free WIC stuff but chances are social services will come after you for reimbursement of what you've received.

Do some babysitting or collect alum cans to make a little cash on the side.

I think you can find other honest ways of making money or earning money extra.

Can you ask a friend or relative for gas money.

Also Can your husband take public transportation to get around? That would be helpful if your in that type of situation.

I think that may be illigal. and you could get in trouble with your state for that. The people who need that would get WIC for themselves anyway.
make crafts and sell those.
Hanging towels and pot holeders are cheap to make and easy sellers

Hmmm...What would Jesus do? Probably not sell WIC formula for gas money. Its probably not Christian-like, but its better than selling it for crack like many others do.

Doesn't your baby need the formula to live? That's important, right?

This certainly sounds illegal to me. The link shows it is clearly illegal in Ohio. I don't know what state you are in.
