I am going to the gyno to see if I am pregnant or not. I've been getting negative hpts but no period yet. How long does it take to get your blood pregnancy test results? Thanks!

I got my results back in 3 hours.
Just make sure the doctor marks STAT on your work order when they take blood. This will make them get the results quicker.

I think 1-2 days. i went in for a blood test on friday and am waiting for them to call me today with the results. i got a neg hpt also but was 11 days late. unfortunately i started my period on sat :( so the only info i will be looking for is the test they did for thyroid.

My results took 2 days and although they say blood pg tests are pretty accurate, I had a false reading on mine and it said it was negative. After then being put on a drug to bring my period on, I actually found out I WAS pregnant (about 9 days after the blood test!) So even if it's negative, don't do or take anything until your period actually comes or you take another pg test 2 weeks later. (I ended up miscarrying because of the drugs my doc put me on).

at the hospital I go to for blood tests they tell me to come back in an hour for results. They won't give me any results over the phone. I have to sign a release to get them too.

You usually get them the same day, or the next at the latest.
