Hi,

i got this curve:
x= (t^4)/4
y=(t^3)/3
z=(t^2)/2

And I'd like to find its norm at the point (4,-8/3,2) for t = -2

I know I can get the tanget to the curv, and there would be plenty or norms , but is there any specific one at that point ?

at a point (x,y,z), the norm is

sqrt ( x^2 + y^2 + z^2)

You have already figured out the values of x, y, and z when t = -2, so simply plug them into the formula for the norm.

(added later): oh! do you mean "norm" or "normal vector"???
they are two very different things!
