4 weeks gestation, 2 weeks since conception. They count from the first day of your last period, so the first 2 weeks you aren't really pregnant. I'm 21 weeks along, that means the baby has been there for 19.

The doctors count it as 4 weeks, but really conception happens 2 weeks before an expected period.

according to the doctor....4 weeks...according to when you conceived...2 weeks. The doctor always goes back to your last missed period, which usually adds on the extra two weeks. They do that because it's usually too hard to know the EXACT date of conception, but knowing the last period gives them a better range to look at.

you count from the first day of your last period . so if your cycles are 28 days apart .. then you are 4 weeks 1 day pregnant when your period is 1 day late.

4 weeks, even though embryo has only been alive for 2 weeks, another weird calculation you will discover is that pregnancy lasts for 10 months(40 weeks) and not 9 as we are all led to believe!
