Why do I ask? Because I think its the first time the American public became aware of Bush's treason. Not to say it was the first or last time he has stabbed us in the back but it was an eye opener even for the most fervent conservatives.

Coupled with the Harriet Miers nomination, it really opened some eyes of the thinking GOP members who realized all was not well up on gay Camelot.

The security at the six ports in question were already handled by a foreign entity. The company that was providing security was British, but was in the process of being bought by a UAE company.

Bush was not "outsourcing" the port security. He was only signing off that the sell of the foreign based company was OK.

Port and starboard. Which one is the left? I keep getting them mixed up. I haven't heard of anyone being aware of Bush's treason. Is he being charged with treason? When's the trial? I'd fervently like to know.

Before you accuse someone of treason perhaps you should understand what treason means.

treason (plural treasons)

1. The crime of betraying one’s government.
"Formerly, the punishment for high treason was of a most barbarous character…. Women were burnt. A male traitor was dragged or drawn to the place of execution and hanged; but while still alive, he was cut down and disembowelled. His head was then severed from his body which was quartered. The head and quarters, which were at the Kings disposal, were usually exposed in some conspicuous place—the Temple Bar being a favourite spot—after being boiled in salt to prevent putrification and in cumin seed to prevent birds feasting on them."
1952: James Avery Joyce: Justice At Work: (this edition Pan 1957) Page 105.
2. Providing aid and comfort to the enemy.

We can rule out 1 since the deal was made BY the government.
Looking at 2, first we would have to be dealing with an enemy here. Saudi Arabia is not an enemy.

Stop picking on the Repubs. Their ignorance and hatred make them little people to be felt sorry for and nourished, like hyper, underfed, underloved children. C'mon let's do our part to rehabilitate the weak and worthless.

You got anything to support that treason allegation? You know, like when Bill Clinton gave the Chinese TOP SECRET guided missile technology in return for secret campaign contributions, which resulted in the Chinese shooting down a weather satellite with a ground-based guided missile in January of this year, proving that they can take out our military and communications satellites anythime they want.
