Evergreens that look dry are dead. Some plants go dormant and will re-sprout. I would go back to a regular watering schedule for a few weeks and see if anything new comes up. You can also slip it out the the pot or out of the ground and look at the base - if it has a strong healthy root system or bulb at the base, it should recover. But ficus and plants like than can be dead and their stems wither - then they are dead since the live wood below the bark is dead. Some vine-like plants can die at the base and it takes weeks for the death to reach the tips since they can get some sustenance from moisture in the air. If the tops look better than the base, trailing plants can sometime be re-rooted in moist soil or water. The more we know about how this plant looks or what it is or if it is a houseplant or yard plant, the more we can help.

The cloudiness is by using the fact your tank is so small it fills with ammonia and waste very rapid, and the tank isn't cycled so he could be burned by applying the ammonia, they prefer a comfortable filter out, like a sponge or Whisper filter out, to maintain the water from going sterile and poisonous. ANY complete water transformations, no longer in basic terms too many complete water transformations, would reason water ask your self, which is additionally why he's no longer moving and swimming poorly. With a filter out, you may in basic terms do approximately 25% water transformations applying a gravel siphon, and upload drops in basic terms to the recent water in the previous including it to the tank. Freeze dried bloodworms would reason constipation now and returned, 3 betta pellets or 2 stay/frozen bloodworms an afternoon would be a extra applicable eating regimen. So your Betta needs a 5 gallon tank minimum, comfortable filter out, heater, partial (no longer complete) water transformations, and once you're feeding him better than I stated, minimize that down too. in the experience that your mom has yet another fish living in even smaller situations don't be stunned if it by surprise starts off performing the same. Bettas can stay 6 to 10 years with perfect care, a bowl isn't a healthful environment.
