Can I download music off my ipod to a different computer then I originally got my music from without it deleting the music off of my computer or ipod if my music is in a folder? not on itunes. without buying any software.

Google Kim Kommander site and sign up for her free tip letter. Her latest Email tells all about Ipod usage. Back up all music and pictures three times. If something happens to your Ipod or you must have it worked on, all music will be erased...just like when they work on your computer...

If you have itunes on the other computer, then yes you can. make sure you set it to manually manage your library first, then plug in your ipod and turn on hard disk mode and drag n drop.
