ok the problem is....
The average monthly rainfall for 6 months was 28.5 mm. If it had rained 1mm more each month what would the average have been? By how much would the total have been increased in six months and by how much would average have been increased per month?

*i got 39.5 for the average if it would have rained 1mm more each month
*i got 11mm for how much it increased
*i got 1.83 for the last question

im probably wrong and i want to see what u got

28.5 mm * 6 = 171 mm
171 + 1 * 6 = 177 mm
177 / 6 = 29.5 mm average for 1 mm more it rained each month.

29.5 - 28.5 = 1 mm increase

177-171= 6 mm increase total
Average increased 1 mm per month.

If the average was 28.5 for 6 months, then wer're told that it rained 1mm more each month, the new average is 29.5 mm.

the average increased by 1mm per month, and the total over 6 months increased by 6 mm.
