Talk to them about their childhoods, times spent with their parent, grandparents and other family members, or friends. Interesting times in school. And write it all down or record it for your descendants.

I know it's almost a cliche, but going to the mall on the day after Thanksgiving puts me into a festive holiday mood. Generally I avoid the mall like the plague, but I like to go early on that day, avoid the massive crowds, but people watching and window shopping is fun on that particular day. Then maybe have a nice lunch at a chain restaurant like Chili's or Ruby Tuesday.
How about a matinee? Movies are always fun, and then maybe a early dinner, when the movie is over.

I'm sure that visiting with you will be entertainment enough, plus you can always take them shopping with you if your mother, if she's like any other mother, will let you know that you have forgotten something for the meal or ask if you can take them to the store to get something that they just may want to nibble on.

What do your parents like to do? What is the weather like?
It sounds like you are going to have to be creative and not expect too much.
Maybe a movie? Maybe a board game or card game?
Maybe cook them a nice dinner? Maybe take them out to dinner? Maybe invite some friends over? Is there a park nearby that you could take them to if the weather is decent?
I live in MA and it's pretty cold here. We have a park nearby but I wouldn't take anyone there because it's too cold for me.

Show them around where you live and ask them if they want to see something like a museum or so. They come to see you and spend time with you, that's all they want. Go to a café with them and to dinner and just have a good time. They don't want to be entertained.

Do your parents really need to be entertained? Isn't being with you enough? When I visit my son I don't especially want to spend that time seeing the sights, I just want to visit with him and his wonderful family . . . though sometimes we do our visting while putting together a puzzle or playing a game.

Your parents will probably entertain you. Older people are more laid back. As long as they have something to eat and something to watch they'll be good.

They are visiting YOU. It's not up to you to provide entertainment. They'll make their own!
