What are some good games for xbox 260 a guy would like to play?

Seriously, unless your Boyfriend is on here, asking a bunch of strangers what we think your boyfriend would like to play is like going up to someone on the street and asking them what you should cook for dinner tonight for you two.
Now that I have explained you should really be asking him (or checking into other games he has played, mentioned, seen, pointed out to you, displayed a mild interest in a tv commercial for a game, etc. etc.) I will give you some advice on what games I prefer to play. (yes, I am a guy.)
I enjoy FPS (First Person Shooters)
I enjoy RPG's (Role Playing Games)
I enjoy MMORPG's (Massive Online Role Playing Games)
I enjoy RTS (Real time Strategy)
I enjoy Strategy
I enjoy Sports games
I enjoy Driving games
If your still not sure what to get him, listen to him talk. See if he mentions any games to his buddies. If you see if a TV commercial for an upcoming video game, see his reaction. Ask him if he likes the game. If you trust his friends not to tell him about his gift, ask one of them what games he likes. During a conversation your having with him, say the name of a game your considering buying him and ask him if he likes it. (ex: Honey, Billy just told me about "X" game he got and how cool it is. Have you heard of it?) If he goes off on a tangent, he may like it. He may even mention another game he thinks is better.

It seems like you have a pretty good line up already set, but there are some new games coming out that I'm sure you and your significant other will enjoy, Call of Duty 4, which is a FPS (first person shooter) which is on of the better COD that have came out because they just recently went into modern time and left the WW 2 era behind. Also the game Assassins Creed is a really good one, is has had some top reviews and over looks like an awesome game, you should check those out.

Some good games I think are awsome are Assasin's Creed, Resident Evil 5 and Halo 3. They might be a little pricey though because they're new games.

I would name games but everyone did it. Get him Halo 3 and an Xbox Live account so he can play online. Just the game does't do it justice.

Get Halo 3 and/or Call of Duty 4: Modern Warcraft and try to get the online stuff that makes it 10x better.

Halo 3 is a great game. It has great reviews and i personally think it is really fun. Also get him xbox live.

If you really love him get him HALO 3!!!
You'll find nearly everyone else will recommend Halo so my advice is to get it because it is THE game.
Be warned, he might spend more time on the Xbox and forget about all else
