Where can I buy a cheap, two RJ-45 port ethernet splitter. I will use this for connecting to the internet on my pc and xbox live on my 360. (I DON'T NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ROUTERS, HUBS, OR SWITCHES!)

I have an Arris cm300a modem that is currently accessing internet to my pc, and I plan to get Xbox Live.

If you can, provide a website, please.

There is no such thing as an Ethernet splitter - you have to use a hub. You can get an inexpensive 4 port hub from Netgear.

There are a few ethernet (RJ-45) splitters on the market that run from $4-10 depending on what you are looking for. Check out the sites below and see if this is what you want. The only thing you have to worry about is the pinouts for the splitters/pigtails.

If you dont know, then buy an inexpensive hub to connect everything like the previous poster said.

There is no such thing as an ethernet splitter. You have to use a router or hub. However, if you refuse to use them you can put another ethernet card in your PC and get a cross over cable. If will allow your XBOX to connect to the internet through your PC (if you share the internet connection) but it will mean you PC must be on for the XBOX to get online.

The splitter will decelerate your connection plenty. every time the two between the computers attempt to deliver some thing on the comparable time, there will be a collision inflicting the techniques to be resent. this might probable ensue approximately as quickly as each and every couple of seconds. A hub is such as a splitter and alter into used returned while information have been slower and consumers have been much less based on the community (think of late 80's early ninety's). A swap avoids those collisions and can save the fee of your connection quite intense.
