Yes, my son insisted we do one for Thanksgiving a couple of years ago. It was de-boned and much better that I ever thought it would be. We did a non-traditional Thanksgiving dinner one year and served that. I can understand why you thought it might be misconstrued as ugly . . . I have a story about our experience that will have to wait until after prime time TV is over.

Yes, I've had it a couple of times. Both times at large gatherings, the type of get-together where smoked meat or barbeque is often served. The meat tastes great, but as someone else already said it is very rich. A few bites fill me up. I think this is a southern or Cajun creation.

It is turkey, then duck then chicken. I heard a story about a friend of our's who isn't the quickest person ever. It was her first thanksgiving and she was really nervous and her husband thought it would be funny to put the chicken and duck in there. She starts to carve the turkey and realizes that there is something in there and thought that she had cooked a pregnant turkey!!!

I had never heard of it until now. I even went to check it out. That is as neat as heck. Looks and sounds like a LOT of work involved in making it.
All 3 meats mixed together in "one", heck yes I would try it in a heart beat. It really sounds like it would be good. Only one problem, I would never put my dressing inside of the turkey or chicken or anything at all. When we do dressing, we do not put it inside at all, it is in a pan to it's self.
I really would like to try it, but that will never happen as it is just my parents and I here and that is way to much food for us.

I have heard about it, but never eaten it. I didn't follow the link. Did this one show or talk about the game hen, inside the chicken, inside the duck, inside the turkey? I have heard of that too.

If you think that is strange, here in Washington there is an ugly clam called the geoduck. It is pronounced gooeyduck and how anyone ever wants to eat let alone prepare this is beyond me.

Yes. It that weird er what? My first question is WHY???????
Paula Deen on the Food network did one of those last week. I watched and simply couldn't understand the attraction.
I guess they do it because they can.... I wouldn't mind having those birds on the table - but separately, thank you very much.

Don't even know what it is or where it came from. Must be turkey and duck mixed together. Didn't go to the web site to find out.
