No, did you expect something else? Would you had rather they go for garaunteed points (aka field goal)? I'm very confused by all of these questions. Which team in the history of any sport stops playing in the third quarter? None!@!#!@#! The Pats had their second stringers in and still scored 14 more points. Ouch!! I understand your pain though. Pats fans are more than used to being trampled. See - any year before 2002.

OK very simply, the Cowboys won because the Bills gave up. On almost three or four drives the cowboys drove it 60+ yards on the bills defense and turned it over because Romo made poor poor decisions. Also, they were clearly past the 10 yard mark when they touched the ball on the onside kick. NOW THE ONE CONTREVERSIAL FACT OF THE ONSIDE KICK IS that there were more than 2 seconds between the cowboys touching the ball and actually falling on it to end the play. Also, the fact that the Bills allowed the cowboys to move into field goal range is completely their fault. REGARDLESS OF officiating they should have called better plays. The pass rush rarely reached Romo he just really sucked last night. Now, the flag after the field goal was not a false start; it was actually because of the coach running onto the field before the ball went through the uprights. However, this would result in yards added onto the kickoff which means the Bills should have had one last shot at a kickoff. However, all the kicker has to do is kick it through the endzone or squib it short to someone and keep it out of Mghee's hands. Oh and also T.O. actually made on good catch on the night and that was when he was pushed out of bounds. And the two point conversion was a pass interference, but T.O. sucks so it doesn't matter.

Which is worse, going for a field goal with a 90+% chance or a first down with a ~50% chance?
If the Bills had stopped them, the Pats would not have scored anything. I can not fault the Pats for giving the Bills a fighting chance.

Would it piss you off to see your team run up the score against the Patriots? Did'nt think so. I bet Pats fans are tired of people like you whining because if your team was doing it you'd be celebrating. Is'nt it cool when your team just crushes someone else? c'mon you know you love it. I do. My Dolphins have been getting hammered every week, do I whine hell no. Even when the Pats ran up the score against the fish, I laughed. They deserved it (dolphins), they sucked and the Pats are phenomenal. I was even more saddened when the Dolphin players started whining, stop whining it's just a game, go home to your hot wives and fancy cars and chill!!

We are up every game by like 28 points, EVERY 4TH QUARTER. Should we just run it to the 1 yd line and put the ball down at the edge of the goal without scoring and smile every 4th quarter? How BAD would teams look then? This is the NFL, not the Special Olympics. If you wanna keep it close, go play soccer.

No. 3 points, 7 points, what's the difference? Would it have been better if the final score was 52-10?
Personally, if I were out there, I'd be more embarassed if they took it easy on me, like I was a little kid or something.
When I was a kid, my favorite team got blown out in a Superbowl 55-10. Even though I was a kid, I didn't complain about it, I didn't whine about it. And now, here are all these adults complaining and whining when the team they like gets blown out. Kinda sad really.

What the heck did you expect the team to do??? go to the side lines and let the Bills play by themselves!! The Starters were pulled out! Second and third stringers were put instead.
YOu don't break records by sitting on the sidelines!!!!

Don't look for hidden controversy. There is none to find here.
It is well known that kicking a Field goal on 4th down is running up the score.... going for it on 4th down is the respectable thing to do.
We pulled our starting quarterback, we put in our rookie 3rd string RB.... WHAT ELSE CAN WE DO?

No, it was more pathetic of the Bills first team defense to not being able to stop Kyle Eckel and Heath Evans from running all over them.
