I have a turban to starch, but I dont know if it's to be laid out flat completely or should I fold it and hang it in a hanger. What's the process of starching the Sikh turban at home?

First you have to prepare the starch.
Measure 1/2 cup starch and put in a pot.
Put in 3/4 cup of cold water in pot, and mix it well to dissolve the starch.
Put 3 cups in another pot let it boil on stove.
Once it starts boiling, turn down the heat, and pour in the premixed starch previously slowly, while continuing to stir fast. keep stirring until the entire mix comes to a boil and the mixture is now thick.
Let it cool down to comfort on hands.
Pour the starch in an empty sink (with stopper in), put your paagh in the mix and rub the entire paagh until it is fully soaked. Then gather it and twist out excess starch.
If you have clothes line, hang the paagh full length to dry.
This is the proper way to do it.
