I think it's for safety purposes. Oh... and they haven't quite figured out how to prevent the light waves from reflecting off of surfaces, althought they have invented surfaces that do not reflect light waves.

Because not everyone sees beauty in the same things as others. Something I think is beautiful may not be to you or someone else and so on soooooo we would have to lite up the world for everyone to see the beauty in each others eyes.
