Its funny, but I've lived in California almost my whole life and have never really been a beach girl. I've never felt like I really belonged here. Don't get me wrong ... I do love the beauty of the beach and sound of the ocean at night - but to me there is nothing more beautiful than mountains (snowy or green!) My dream has always been to live in a beautiful log cabin at the base of a mountain with streams running nearby. That - to me - is the ultimate natural beauty. Eventually, I hope to move to Colorado, Northern Arizona or Tennessee. I'm gonna figure out a way to have that log cabin! =)

Good choice! I'm actually lucky enough to live right across the street from the beach. I never get tired of it, although my friends often ask if I do. I guess they think that it could be too much of a good thing to actually live next to the beach (rather than to just visit it). But let me tell you, it's impossible to get tired of it. Just imagine being able to go for a walk along the beach every day after work...

Forget Mountain Living! I've been there and I cant handle the mice and snakes on the property. I do enjoy the deer that show up as long as they dont get close which they always do! I lived right by a beach in Carlsbad near San Diego and I would love to move back anyday!

This is a toughy............I love both, but I don't live near either one. I love the beauty of both.......I would love to be able to walk on the beach at sunrise or sunset or just whenever I wanted but then again I would also love to be able to take a hike up the mountains & along the streams & look at all the wildlife whenever I wanted.........I'm too indecisive.......sorry I can't choose one or the other right now! :)

Ooo..thats a no longer ordinary question! I stay approximately an hour faraway from the two. i will declare the sea coast and the mountains are in basic terms approximately 15/20 minutes faraway from the sea coast so i'm able to constantly flow to.
