has been to ve a number of times, has had different meds etc no change still eating his insects but in funny way

Is your vet an experienced reptile vet? If not, find one. He could have an abscess, or mouth infection. The vet needs to determine if your setup is correct for healing. A culture of his mouth might be needed as well.

Oh, did he come up to you and tell you he has a sore throat? Try Tylenol Sore Throat. jk. I would call the vet again. Tell him that your beardie is eating in a funny way. Try different meds. If nothing improves, switch vets. Good Luck.

Hmmm If you could email me we can figure this out :) I have a full grown beardie and work at a animal clinic, how is he eating funny? :(

it might have been a side effetct as long as he is still eating he is fine!!! good luck
