loose...tight gives me a headache in a heart beat!

Tight enough that it keeps my hair up, but not so tight that it gives me a headache. I have baby fine hair, so I have to have the elastic band somewhat tight to keep all my hair from coming out of the ponytail.

I do it quite tight, and then I pull it back so it's loose at the nape of my neck. I used to do it seriosuly tight, but it looked really bad as I have thick hair, and it made my face looks really big because everything was flat.... loose looks way better on me because it gives it some volume. Doing it too tight also gives me a headache.
I used to do it tight cuz I got really annoyed when my hair got in my way! I refused to have it down! But now I'm getting a slight bald patch from wear the hair is pulling, so I'm slowly slowly wearing it down...
by putting it in a loose bun. (I do it the same way, quite tight, then pull it back to loosen it up a little bit. I like it shaggy!)
But it varys on each people. It's only because I have quite a big face, and big (thick hair) so it just make my facce look even bigger. But if you hav thin hair and do it tigh OR loose they both look good.

I put it on as tight as possible, because I have thin hair and the ponytail will fall out if I put it on loose.

Tight, I have short hair so if it's loose it will fall out of the ponytail.

I use a barrett instead of an elastic band most of the time - but if so it's neither tight (bad for hair) or too lose (so it falls out) but somewhere in between.

Medium...it looks cute though when it's loose. It looks messy, but you can tell you took a little bit of time to do it. If it's too tight, it just looks like it's ripping your hair out, and it's not too attractive.

Tight, if i put it in loose it will start coming out and leaking those little hairs that i hate.

tight if I am going to do something like running or walking, but loose I am just lounging around the house
