Those are TITLES without Pippen.
1985 as a ROOKIE he LED his horrible team to the PLAY-OFFS
1986 he only played 18 games (MJ haters blames MJ for the Bulls record that year even though only he played 18 games..lol)
1987 as a 2nd year rookie (his 2nd full season) he led his horrible team to the play-offs.
1998 Pippen missed 38 games (almost 1/2 the season) & MJ still led the Bulls to a 62-20 record (impressive).
2001-03 MJ was ages 38-40 (way past his pime). But still was a 2X All-Star, continued to set scoring records, & etc.

Even when Scottie was drafted, the 2 still coudn't really achieve much. To win a championship, its not a 2 man game. Its 12 players and a great coaching staff. Replace Ron Harper on that bulls team with a player who couldn't even make a team as a bench warmer. Replace grant, paxson, kerr, rodman with bench warmer caliber type of players and replace Phile jackson with a coach much like Mike Brown. So not even Scottie and Michael alone can win a championship w/o all those other players. No one is someone without somebody else.

i'm with you. jordan may not have won a title without pippen but he did alot of things in the nba. lets not forget the 37 points a game he averaged without pippen. 37 points a game, thats alot of points to average. even kobe in his ballhog season of 2 years ago wasnt at 37.
the only thing that you can glean from the fact that jordan didnt win without pippen is that no one guy can do it by himself. beyond that, you cant say anything about pippen making jordan. pippen was a dayum good player but anyone who knows basketball and has watched those guys play can tell you that pippen was a great defender, good passer, good rebounder, and an above average scorer. jordan was great at all of those things.

I think it's fair to say that nobody ever won a ring by himself. Bird had McHale and Parish, Magic had Worthy and Kareem, Dr. J had Moses and Mo Cheeks, Kobe had Shaq, etc.
I think you're also forgetting that MJ didn't win his NCAA ring by himself. He had Perkins and Worthy on that team.
And certainly he didn't win the '84 gold medal by himself.
All that being said, MJ's accomplishments are undoubtedly extremely impressive, arguably the best of all time.
Most MJ haters are Kobe lovers, so that's why they hate on MJ. Kobe will never be better than MJ, and they know it.

Well how about this, he won in college, big difference that than the pros, then the gold medal, he was surrendded by all-stars. Interesting. When Jordan was gone, Bulls did alright. No championships but competitive. When Pipken was gone and Jordan was back, they did not seem as competitive.
