On several occasions I've been on various message boards & inevitably, flame wars flare up. That's when The Mods jump in to warn/ban/ suspend people from the site (must be a great feeling of power)
Then those who're punished will often vent about the said site & 'threaten' to start their own *minus* any moderation.
Has anyone here ever *been* to one of these unmodified forums?
Total chaos? More fun?

those flares make it exciting.....I love it. Yeah you get the idiots and morons.......but making fun of them is so easy and enjoyable.........

I personally am a fan of forums that have strong moderators.
They usually stay on topic and have a lot less little kids that are annoying...

Did you mean "unmoderated"?
They are annoying places because any fool can come and spout rubbish and abuse and you can't get rid of them.
