Here's one for the next time we see an MCR Q:

1) stare closely at screen containing dumb MCR question
2) remove left shoe from foot
3) stand up
4) take 3 paces back from screen
5) At top voulume, yell "Geronimo!!"
6) toss shoe at screen w/ everything you got

(then get everyone to hit the 'report' button on em)

Start of with a nice dose of AC/DC, Megadeath, Steppenwolf, The Kinks, and Deep Purple as an appitizer,
follow that with some Ramones soup and a mixed salad of The Misfits, The Clash, and the Buzzcocks.
For your main course, have the Who, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Metallica, and Black Sabbath, with a side of Alice in Chains, Godsmack, and Tool.
Finish of with dessert of Cranberries, Nirvana, The Pixies, and Smashing Pumpkins pie.

Must they ask the same question four thousand times! Whether you like the band or not, it's really ******* annoying to constantley hear about the same people., when no one has any evidence or actual questions. they just wantto be annoying and seem unable to look up all the old questions to satisfy their annoying needs.

Have the person stand in front of a Marshall JCM full stack cranked to "11", with Zakk Wylde and an EMG-loaded Les Paul connected to the business end of it. The mere thought of that alone is enough to loosen the bowels of even the most intestinally-impacted MCR victim.

By the way, is it just coincidence that "emo" rhymes with "chemo", the latter of which WILL cause you to purge heavily from both ends? Just a playful thought...

My personal remedy (tested and 100% effective):

1) Answer their questions with extremely sarcastic answers (God i love doing that).
2) Give a thumb down to any Pro-MCR.
3) Report any reportable "question" (especially the repetitive ones).
4) 2 hours of concentrated Cat Stevens music (preferably from Mona Bone Jakon) to purge the "noise" of the questions out of your head.

*Note: there is 1 year warranty on this remedy :)

But Fonzie, I have the issues with the questions, not my prized flat screen monitor! I just use the wise words of my Mother from way back when: "Think of it as a challenge" and "Don't converse with idiots, they'll drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience." Good ol' Mom, she had a thing or two in the groove. Ignore those questions - that's why we have scroll wheels on our Mousies.

First off, I'm going to attempt to avoid the whole emo bashing thing. I'm afraid that our anti-MCR questions are becoming just as bad as all the pro-MCR questions. It's getting a tad bit silly.

Second, how in the blue hell did Christina Aguilera come out of the 90s teeny-pop wave as the good one? My God of Thunder, she might as well have been screwing her dancers on stage. She was the closest thing to a flat out whore that I've seen since, well, the last time I saw a flat out whore. Now, she's getting praise for doing gospel and Christmas music while madam Brittney slowly cooks in her own juices? That was one helluva make over, and good for her, but who would you rather have your teenage daughter looking up to, Christina or somebody like Liz Phair or the Donnas?

Can we please get rid of the cookie monster vocalists in the rock and metal world? Whatever happened to the guys that could actually sing as opposed to growling and mumbling out lyrics over the top of guitars that are tuned down waaaaaaay too low? Where are the Eric Martins and Bruce Dickinsons and Rob Halfords of the new millenia? Why must I listen to something that sounds like my dog playing tug of war with his toy rope and call it music? Enough damnit. I want guys that can actually sing fronting my bands. I want melodies and harmonies, and I want them now.

Finally, I give up. You can have MTV. Yes, I know I said I wanted it in the 80s, but I don't want it anymore. When the most interesting thing they can show is some butter-faced bisexual tramp as the object of attention for a lot of people that are far more f*cked up than I ever was, then it's time to just call off the life support. It's not going to help. It would take me a full bottle or three plus the burning of both of my retinas before Tia Tequila would ever have a shot of love with me or any of my body parts.

There's more, but I'm just angry, and I am at the office.

a very large dose of real good rock n roll - not the punk pop emo sh*t that is out now but the stuff from 10 + years ago. A few drinks wouldn't hurt to numb the pain

Do you have room for a 20 lb turkey, mashed potatoes, rolls, and a pumpkin pie??????.....hopefully, Thanksgiving will bring us a new band to fall over, and that should definitely make you purge(or at least go into a nice long nap)
