Mary Monroe I love her! I have read pretty much all her books my favs are Upper room and the god don't like ugly series.

I'm a huge fan of Walter Mosley. He's contemporary. He writes historical detective novels. Devil in a Blue Dress is a good one.
My favorite classic is Ellison's "Invisible Man." Another one, this one a short novel, is Richard Wright's "The Man Who Lived Underground." Both are really good.

I'm a big fan of Ralph Ellison and "Invisible Man." Langston Hughes is probably my favorite African American poet. As a prose writer he was much more prolific than Ellison, but "Invisible Man" is the greatest.

Shel Silverstein- the place the sidewalk ends and a mild contained in the attic have been large books via a black American. i don't study lots or i'm valuable i might know greater. are you able to tell me whilst WHITE historic previous month is? I see Black historic previous month constantly. the place is the white scholarship fund?
