My fiance recently admitted to being able to see and hear spirits. She said it started about a year or so ago when she moved with her family to a new house from her grandparents. She says she's seen a little girl and an older woman, both resemble each other, wearing old fashioned dresses. She says she's also seen evil spirits outside the home, or lined down the road, or hanging from trees. She says that when she puts objects down sometimes, they get moved somewhere else. One night she heard footsteps that I thought was a knocking under the house, and then heard someone scream, of which I didn't hear. Another night she saw the same girl under the kitchen table. Then saw the girl later that night at the bottom of my steps. Then saw the girl along with 4 other kids sitting at our feet while we tried sleeping. The next day, six kids were playing ring around the rosy my kitchen, and then came to us in the living room. They said they were her family protecting her and me. Any suggestions?

It sounds like your fiancee is suffering from schizophrenia. If she is in her late teens or early adulthood, she is in the general age of onset for the disorder. It is linked with delusions and loosely associated ideas. Is she using words in an unusual sense or making up words? This is also associated with schizophrenia. Does her family have a history of mental illness? You may want to take her into a mental health facility and have her evaluated. The treatment for schizophrenia are drugs.
It also could be a tumor in the brain. The tumor would explain the headaches as it is causing pressure in the brain and, if in the right spot, could cause the hallucinations. For that, you may want to get her checked out at a hospital and have them scan her brain.
Or it could all be real or you could be lying trying to get attention...
All are possibilities.

I believe in spirts. When I was a kid our house used to be haunted and the spirit(s) caused me to sleep walk, and also see/hear things. One time was in the living room with my brother and suddenly the boom box turned on and was some strange chanting in a deep voice in a weird language. We ran screaming outside. lol Though that kinda stuff stopped after my mom just talked into the open in the living room and told the spirit that we knew it's there and that it can continue living there but it has to stop doing all the stuff it had been doing. Then after that everything stopped. Though she might want to get checked out anyway... I've heard sometimes that an abnormality of the brain can cause this type of thing... like a tumor or something.

This sounds like a serious mental illness. What she is experiencing are hallucinations--lots of them. (I assume that her symptoms are not caused by illegal drug use. If they are then she should see her GP who will refer her for treatment if she is not able to stop on her own.)
It is crucial that you have her see a psychiatrist ASAP for an evaluation. Psychiatrists are trained to treat these sorts of disorders. She may need medication, and she may also need psychotherapy. At the appointment, you should be present so you also can provide information to the psychiatrist.

I would believe her if I were you. Doctors however would probably diagnose this as a mental illness but that's because they don't believe in being able to see spirits. I would consult a religious priest. The U.S. doesn't recognize being able to see dead spirits or evil spirits where in other countries especially in the Caribbean they do.
The person who said to tell her to tell the spirit to go away is right. Have her try doing this to see if they stop. If they don't she'll need to resort to a religious priest.

Sounds like a case of Psychosis to me and watching too many episodes of Medium. I won't be one to say that I don't believe, but for it to suddenly happen and continue non-stop during every waking moment, I tend to believe she is making stuff up. Get her some psyche pills and find yourself another woman.

get her on meds, if that don't work just let her be, millions of people claim to see things that regular people don't see. check out her story, see if there was ever anyone who died in that house, you should be able to look at old deeds in your town.

there' nothing wrong with that. she probably IS seeing spirits. just because most can't, what makes you think that it's impossible? she doesn't need meds unless she's scared of them or feels threatened by them. let her be!
