I have some friends to buy a little something for, for Christmas. Well, 23 to be exact. Okay, before anyones goes off on me about spending money on so many friends, these friends are part of a group I belong to; a group of women who are having a hard time conceiving children or are having difficult pregnancies, so I thought each of them needed a little Christmas cheer. Anyway, I want to get each of them a little something that isn't expensive, but still says "I thought of you". Know what I mean?

I was thinking a coffee cup from the dollar shop with some homemade hot cocoa. Or maybe a treat sack with various baked goods in it. Anyone have any ideas?

Can you bake? I make Lemon Bars, Raspberry Bars, Brownies and cookies every year. Then I cruise down to the dollar store or Big Lots or sometimes even Target. You just find something cute and thoughtful to put the goodies in. One year, I found a bunch of Snowman shaped plastic platters for $1.50 each! Another year, it was these large, hollow, colorful Christmas ornaments for $2.00 each. This year, I have no idea, but I'm sure I'll find something cute!

A cup filled with some cocoa mix, a specialty teabag, and a few cookies is a lovely gift.

But you can get mugs or cups for 25 or 50 cents at thrift shops, far nicer than anything at the dollar store. There are many that probably retailed for $4 to $7, in a wide variety. Stop at the one near you for great saving, plus doing good for your community.

The cup is a great idea. Or cookies always go over well. People just like to be thought of. Even if it is inexpensive, they just like to be remembered. Pretty much anything you do will make them feel special for being thought of. I don't have any money for Christmas this year, so I'm mixing mineral oil with raw sugar and rose oil to make a bath rub for the women in my life. I'm putting it in little bottles I bought at the dollar tree. Very inexpensive. I spent less than 20 dollars for everything, and I know they will love it because I thought about them. Best wishes!

The dollar store and Marcs are the best places to shop for inexpensive gifts. I like the coffee cup idea.. Or u could do a cheap candle in a cute holder.... I would just go browz a local Marcs in the outlet department... You will find more than enough ideas there...

I paint ornaments for my friends. Go someplace like Hobby Lobby or any other craft store and go nuts! There are all kinds of ornaments you can make from painting pre-made plaster or wood ornaments to decorating glass ornaments by rolling different colors of paints in them or stuffing them with potpourri. Also you could begin a scrapbook for each of your friends and give it to them and ask them to keep adding to it. I personally don't get into scrapbooking but I know a lot of people do....its very popular!

what i did last year that really worked out well was that i bought snow men mugs (incase some celebrate other holidays) and put lots of candy, two candy canes, and a holiday pencil in the mug and then wrapped it up with red plastic wrap and string on the top. everyone thought they were really cute. if you want to add a personal touch, add a card or note with it.

i think that maybe either something from bath and body works, like a basket of different scented candles or soaps. Maybe you should just get a few friends together just to spend christmas with their good friends. If there your friends than you will figure something out. Don't worry!!!!!!!!!!

i think you should just buy some picture frames from the 99 cents store and put a picture of you all in it or maybe do something that have something that represents your group (symbol, etc.) and do sometype of poster or what not and post it at a place where you all meet.
