They are 0-4 on Ohio State. They have never won a janaury bowl because they are going to play in a December bowl. They broke school records yet some felt they did not show up when it mattered most and that was beating ohio state and winning a rose bowl or national title?

Not only could they not win the big ones, but the little ones proved to be tough for them too.
I also don't believe that many people would use the word great when describing Chad Henne. Compared to his peers....he's average.

It depends on how you look at it from a statistics point of view they were great players but what really matters is beating Ohio State. They never beat Ohio State which is a big deal because of the hatred each team has for each other. Ohio State has owned them for the last few years but Hart might also be remembered for running his mouth about Ohio State and then being dominated by the OSU D. You are measured by how did in the big game if you are an Ohio State or Michigan player. Troy IS remembered for never losing to Mich. Hart and Henning will in the end be remembered for losing to Ohio State every year they played against them!!

Oh I doubt it.
I think agents that have followed since high school into college will know what their abilities are.
I think their futures are yet to come. A few people will hang on to the old college days but I think both Henne and Hart will show up on the NFL fields. Besides us in Michigan and Ohio.....who else considered that game a "big" one. Its big to us yeah.......but nationwide??

Probably, in the NFL their stock dropped tremendously, and you could just see that as soon as they lost that first game they realized that every second since making up their minds to stay was a waste, double it now that they lost to OSU. I almost feel bad for them as a Buckeye fan because the rivalry is a rivalry because you win some and lose some. To imagine a whole class going through one of those schools 0-4 against the other is kind of sad. But then again it happened more than once at OSU during the Cooper years.

if they can counter that by winning the big game in the NFL like Peyton Manning did, their college career becomes obsolete and doesn't matter. so it all depends upon how their NFL career works out. until then, it will be remembered that they could not win the big game or beat Ohio State University.

well while being a michigan fan i dont fault them for this season as both were hurt (the entire season). you dont expect to win many games when your starting QB and RB are hurt. However to answer the question yes i think that is how they will be percieved for the most part though.

hey I will admit it happens on borth sides that's why people outside of Ohio and Michigan don't realize how great of a rivalry the game really is.

No, they will be remembered as decent college players that struggled mightily with injuries during their senior year and never made it in the NFL.
