I would like to know how much I can put on the trailer. The trailer is 4'x7', and the maximum loading weight is 790lbs. Thank you to anyone who replies.

Find the answer through experiment: Weigh an empty bucket, fill the bucket with dirt, and weigh it again to get the weight of the dirt. Then fill the bucket with water and measure the volume of water required. You now have the information you need to compute the density of your dirt and therefore the depth to which you can fill your trailor.

Or if you're in a hurry,an old rule of thumb when loading sand is 10 lbs per shovelful. I've moved many tons of sand in my old pickup and am usually not off by more than 10% when hand-loading sand using this rule.
