If I am understanding the question, you set up content filtering within Windows Internet Explorer on you PC, password protected it, and then forgot the password. So now you can not change those settings.

Simple. Download and install Firefox. It is not only a better browser, but will not carry over the restrictions from IE.

If you really prefer to use IE instead, go to microsoft.com and search their knoweldgebase for "content password". They have a document on how to remove the passowrd. But it requires administrative rights to do it, and knowledge on how to edit the registry. Not something recommended from non-expert users. (No insult intended).

Call your ISP and get the password, then go to start->settings->network connections then on the left of the screen click create new connection, follow the instructions
