i dont want my eyes to look to dark ...like a smokey look... my friends all have dark eyelashes so when they put in mascara it does not look really dark. but when i do it does! plz help...is there anything to make them i bit more seeable?

Before u apply your mascara and when you take your make up off at night, you should apply some vaseline to your lashes. it might seem really horrible but it should work and also seperate them leaving them even and longer. it wont clump them together leaving a dark black look and it will look natural.

It's proabably cause you arn't use to seeing your self with dark black eye lashes. So u could keep using it and get used to it or you could try a brown mascara to tone it down a bit. Or a blue one for a fun but subtle look to make your eyes pop! I recomend bag gal blue from benefit. www.benefitcosmetics.com You could also always try a clear mascara to have the same color lashes just longer and better groomed.

Try using mascara in a brown or brownish-black color instead of black. Also try using only one coat for a more subtle look.
Another option is an eyelash tint ... a tint will just add some color to your lashes without making them thicker or longer like mascara.

I recommend a brownish- black mascara. Get the covergirl mascara with the curved brush in the blue bottle. (professional something....) It will work best with ur eyelashes. My sister has the same problem and this is what she uses. Good luck!

never buy mac because it is really heavy on your lashes but maybeline is really good. it is really light and make your eyelashes stronger. Brown looks best if you want your lashes to look natural. buy a brownish color. maybeline is pretty good. covergirl isnt the best.

i am a redhead, and my lashes are almost invisible. i use volume exact by covergirl. i prefer the very black, but you can use brown, if you feel, black is too dark for you.

try a brown color instead. it won't look as harsh on you.
