50 years in Jan..as of right now we are still best friends..we'll see in March when we celebrate those 50 years by traveling and living 24/7 in our RV for 4 months touring the East coast..It should be quite an adventure as we have done all the States West of the Mississippi, but never East of the Mississippi..Somehow I don't think it will hurt our friendship a bit..

We've been married 19 years (anniversary was Nov 5th) and I don't think we're still friends......I know we are! We'd been friends for just over 2 years and neither of us could stand it any longer.....Tc said he had to tell me how he felt about me and I had the same thoughts....on the same day! 6 weeks later we got married....it would have been sooner but 5th Nov was the first available date plus the 3 weeks for the banns to be on display. It was a perfect day, exactly the type of wedding we both wanted. A few friends, Tc's Father and step-mother were our witnesses, his 2 brothers and their wives, registry office, small get-together back at our house and a Chinese take-away for just the 2 of us after a couple of drinks at a local pub with Tc's dad and step-mum. The whole day only cost us just over £100 including our wedding rings (bought them from a pawn-shop!). Best friends for always!

43 years in December and we're better "friends" now than when we were first married.
Seriously when we were married we had known each other less than three months. We were given a maximum of six months before the big split but we proved "them" wrong and just decided to keep on proving "them" wrong.
We will be going back to her hometown again in March '08 to rub "their' noses in "it" again... at least the ones who are still living.
After my Lord and Savior she is number one in my life. I've told her that she can't go first. I get to go first because I won't last long without her... Yes, I'm afraid I'm very selfish, trying to live without her would be too much pain to bear .

I have been married for only 8 or 9 years (silly me, I can never keep track), but we have been together for over 20 years. We are better friends now than ever.

We have been married 41 years and we still make each other laugh. (mind you, there are some days we could cheerfully throttle each other but it passes quickly thank goodness.) We never hold a grudge. We don't go many places anymore but we share things we find on the internet with each other.(it's our new toy) We both have our own hobbies and share raising our grandaughter who keeps us hopping.

We've been married 23 years and we're still friends. I don't like to shop much, so he went to the store with me today and helped me put all the groceries away. Friends do things like that for each other.

We're high school sweethearts and have been married for 35 years. I like wandering through Autumn with him and in our Winter we will be content as well.
