I give them all the time until I run out! Mostly if I stop long enough to answer your question- I liked it so I do give most that I answer a star. Also do the thumbs up when I choose an answer to one of my questions! Your right- they r free so why not make someones day? Heres one from me to u

maybe they don't want to, or they don't find the question interesting enough!
Ya know it is NOT a requirement to give stars, some people just don't do it, and for no reason, i do star some questions, but hey most of the time i don't even think about stars when answering questions.
The real question is !Why do you care so much about stars?!

I do,but I could star everything lol so I try and keep it to a limit and star questions I think others would like aswell.Don't worry you have got one here though!

becuz, on the inside, stars mean something; they give you a warm, fuzzy feeling on the inside
if you just start giving them out all the time, they tend to loose there meaning
and some questions are just silly and dont really deserve a star

I forget.
And, honestly, they kind of remind me of like doggy treats or something. Like I could say "Gooooood yahoo user" , give you a star and pat you on the head. Kind of creeps me out.
