i just bought a compaq presario v3000 series notebook pc..(the model is V3614AU)..my question is..

1.) where i can find a driver for the device in this notebook (give me a link please...)..it's better if it's a set of driver in single file..

2. i've spend 5 hours looking for driver at the internet..now i only got few things to install..
coprocessor
ethernet controller
sm bus controller
video controller(vga compatible)

3) since i don't know these hardware manufacturer..it's hard for me to find the needed drivers

4) err..that's all..i think

You should have a disk that came with your PC that is labeled something like Driver Recovery CD, or Drivers & Utilities, or something like that.

That disk will have all the drivers you need for your PC .....

...UNLESS you have added hardware to it that didn't come from Compaq.

Any and all drivers should also be available on the Compaq/HP web site.
