Yeah, I was forced to a few years ago, (we moved) and I did find it a bit freeing to be rid of so much stuff! Go figure!

I used to comfort myself by running away. Even as a child, if I was in an uncomfortable situation or scared, backed into a corner, anything, I'd run. I ruined so many friendships and family connections because of it. I have been working on it through therapy and feel stronger now that I face what life throws at me.

Like alcohol. Yes.
I was a serious alcoholic for many years. Ancient age and diet coke.
I got pregnant and I found it easy to stop for my unborn child.
I turned to alcohol to live with a traumatic event that ruined my life for many years.
