I have never been to a Black Friday shopping. But wanted to know everybody's experience who have done it.Are the crowds too bad?
Do you know of any stores/places that give you free stuff on entry? And above all,are the sales really good or they are just like regular sales?
Please tell me a few shops where your experience has been good.I was planning clothes shopping for me & kids.

They are horrible.

People are crude and pushy and use a lot of manners that their mothers would be absolutely devastated about.

YES, the sales are good, but if you have been watching you can probably get those things other times without having your children trampled to death.

I'd never take children to this day's sales. They will be grumpy, pushed around, and you won't REALLY get what you want. And you'll start to lose your own even temper because of it.

It's not worth it!

No. I went out a couple of years ago at 5 am and saw a line of people that was ridiculous. Some of them were even in the pajamas. Anything that was on sale would be gone by the time we'd make it inside the store.

It's a nightmare!!!! I refuse to do it anymore. You have all of these people lining up at stores before the sun comes up. I've seen people get violent, trampled on when the doors open- for what a $5 gift? I've went several times but refuse to now- never had a good experience.

I like to go the day after Christmas :)

Everything (cloths wise) that is any good is already gone. Black Friday is when they put out the stuff that they want taken away in the feeding frenzy.

You got up before dawn to go shopping, odds are you will buy something - they are counting on it.

I usually just hit one store and plan what i need. For example one year i wanted game boys for my kids. I have 3 kids who would be getting them. I think that year they were normally like 90 bucks each. Well at walmart they had them for 40 bucks and not many of them. So we got in line early and when the doors opened i headed straight to electronics and got what i needed. Paid and went home.
I wouldn't shop all day it's just crazy.

I didn't like it. It was so crowded that I waited in line to just buy one thing.. I never went back. I can't stand the crowd it kind of hard since I am single mom of two boys that are five and three

I'd rather cut out my own liver than go shopping on black Friday. To many people, sales can be good but I don't think its worth losing your sanity over.

For clothes, I like go to tanger outlet. last year, they have great deals. I am planning to go there this year too. however, outlets are usually a little far away, you have plan in advance, if you want to buy some stuff in downtown also.
