I think the skirts are nice but probably not necessary for a boy. Nothings really 'nooby' but if you're a higher level and wearing steel or anything low like that then its either seen as ironic (if you are lvl 80+) or 'nooby' if you are not.

You can also get special sort of armour like blessed ones but they are really expensive. And only for members (I think). There are other special ones too.

For steel there's not much you can do. There are no interesting steel pieces.
In black you can get the black (t) or (g) both of which come from members who have completed treasure trails but can be sold to nonmembers. These can be assentuated with boots or gloves ( I forget which of the two ) members can buy in cannifs & sell to nonmembers.
mithrel has nothing interesting. Its the standard smithed stuff.
In addament you can find the addie (t) & (g) also from members treasure trails. These can be assentuated with boots or gloves ( I forget which of the two ) members can buy in cannifs & sell to nonmembers.
When you get to rune you have the rune (t) , (g) , guilded & blessed armors from the treasure trails.
There's also the wizzard (t) & (g) robes from members treasure trails.
Those & the willow composite bow are about the only treasure trail items nonmembers can use to really trick out their look. Otherwise your stuck with the regular smithed or crafted armors & robes.

You could also wear some of the holiday & random event items too. The halloween Grim Reapers Hood & either black wizards or Shades robes looks neat. You could also buy the party hats , santa caps & halloween dragon masks but they cost a fortune.

I forgot to mention that the only unique weapon for nonmembers besides the willow composite bow is the blurite sword. If you drop the first one smithed by the dwarf during the Knights Sword quest you can have him make another then pick up the first. Bank one then finish the quest with the other & you get to keep one for yourself. Its not a great weapon but it does look interesting & not many nonmembers have or carry one.

Now for members the list is nearly endless.

Try wearing the best armour you can what ever your defense level, like wear steel when you can, then get mith etc

And i beleive the writing commands are

red(or any colour):
wave:
wave2:
scroll:

to get both a colour and an effect do the colour first like

red:wave:

i think this is it, if not, e-mail me... i have a level 100 and im more than familiar with these commands but its been a while since i played so its a little... distant

The best way to look unnooby is to get the boots from Barbarian Village. It will prove to people that you probably slashed your way to victory to get them. Plus you get 10k. Go to google and type in sal. On the link that says sal realms click on it and on the side click on dungeon guild. Select Barbarian Village and It gives you all the info you need. I wear addy, and a full set probably costs around 25k.

Runescape is a simple and free game played by millions of people and one of the most enjoyable parts of it is collecting all the Runescape items that are available. There are literally thousands upon thousands of items to collect in Runescape. Some are obviously more valuable, rare and prized than others. There are even items that no longer are able to be created which has created a whole industry of specific Runescape item trading in itself. This is the Runescape rare item market consisting of things like party hats, santa hats, holloween masks plus a few other items that are so sort after that it costs millions of Runescape gold to just buy one of these items.

Or do alot of events and use a MIME SHIRT, Rune legs(if lv 40 def)(if not wear any other legs that are ARMOR TYPE), Grim hood(From 2007 halloween event) , and Fancy boots.
