in-n-out will probably pay better than the rest (fast food)... or get into construction, or retail w/ commission (nordstrom, etc...). I would consider going back to school...

cheers!

Is there any reason why you don't have a diploma? Seems alright when you are young and can sleep late, but you can't do anything in life without one. I bet it sucks seing your friends succeeding though right? You first of all need a GED at least. < it's mediocre, but other than that go look for a MCJOB! because that's all you will ever have. After a GED if you still want to be ignorant and not go to college...i suggest you sell something, like work for a brokrage firm or something. I'm not sure they'll even hire you with a GED but try it. Worst comes the worst, do what most drop outs do...sell drugs?

Not trying to be rude..but it's life..you made the choice to drop out. I have no sympathy for people like that.

You need to start your own business. If you can read and write and think on your feet, you will be ok. If you dropped out of HS, you must have been bored silly, if so, find something that interests you and start a business dealing with that. You really won't need much money, and if you are SERIOUS, (and not a stoner) you can make it without a HS diploma. The question you need to answer is "What is it that I LOVE to do?" Obviously you have not even thought much about this or you would not have asked the question.

Your options are limited. The best thing you can do is go back for the GED. You might want to look for jobs typically held by students - fast food, library shelver (though they might not hire you without a diploma if you're no longer in school). Even many factories now require a diploma. Heck, truck driving requires a diploma.

You could walk dogs or shovel sh_t or maybe you could do the wise thing and go back to school cause you're not going to be successful with out a diploma/GED. You obviously don't have the skills and focus to be an entrepreneur if you're in here playing on the computer. Success doesn't fall in your lap. You have to work hard for it. Nothing worth having comes easy and you haven't even gotten past the first step of success....Finish school!

I suggest you try for your GED and then enroll in a community college or trade school. Otherwise, a retail store, fast food or regular reasturaunt. Dont expect much. Even McDonalds asks for a H.S. diploma. You dropped out and this is your consequense for the choice you made, now fix it, try going back to school. Good luck with everything.

Try outside work - lawn care, construction or restoration.
Try inside work - data entry/office work, repair or technician.
Check in with temp agencies so you can at least earn money.
Earn money diligently and try to save whatever you can.
Look on monster.com for better jobs that may interest you.
Try starting an at-home business or online retailer shop.
Put your mind to work for you and make these things happen.

You could even consider going back to school. Don't ever feel stupid, because you're not. You can finish at any time, albeit the sooner the better, and go much much farther in education to achieve your dreams! Take time to think it out!

Yeah, go back and get a G.E.D at a community college. Then enroll in that same community college and work on a program of choice that you like. You realized you made a dumb mistake, but it's not too late to fix it.

Lay out your plan to your parents(Unless they kicked you out) and then maybe they'll let you stay, as long as you also get a part-time job and contribute to the household expenses as any responsible adult should do. Good luck.

What is listed in the # 1, 2, and 3 answers are just about all you have to look forward to my friend, unless you get your GED. You have absolutely no future without first an education, at least basic.

You would be smart to go back and get your GED.I honestly don't know if any of these require a diploma or not but here goes:
Drive a cab or limo
deliver something (flowers, pizza, newspapers, whatever)
Handle packages at UPS
Work for a landscaping company.

If you can get into a tradeschool do that.
It sounds sleezy and stupid but being a plumber/electrician/drywaller pays SO much money. There is a huge demand where I live - partially because everyone's going off to university and not bothering with trades anymore.
They make good money.

Retail/Fast food is dead end. At least with a trade you have the ability to move up somewhat.
