Don't mind being called 'trash' by a person that refers to our military as 'rapists'.

While you point to a single incident of criminality, is there ever any plaudits for the positives the men and women of America's Armed Forces render?

Stick to the leftist orthodoxy as counterfeit sentiment for the soldiers' mission is easily detected

Offended? No.
Dismayed? Yes.
Would it surprise you to hear I'd surrender my life-savings to have Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz and Kristol all to myself for a 'discussion'? Far as Bush is concerned, I, too, have many issues with him; they just differ from yours.

Vietnam also had a huge impact on during my formative years as it involved my father and decided that my uncle should stay to be interred.

Think I equate love of America with yellow ribbons and country&western songs?

So she's really NOT flip flopping? That explains it. There really are different opinions about the same topic depending on who she is at that moment.

BRILLIANT!

I am not "pointing out a single incident of criminality" as you put it.

I am pointing out the falsehood of your libelous statement against me, where you intentionally attempted to attack my character by saying that I "called our military rapists." Which I most certainly did not.

And the "criminality" occurring in Iraq is far, far more than a "single incident."

You see, friend, I do not now - nor have I ever - for one single moment bought into the "party line" which says "Keep your mouth shut above all else."

I say the truth comes above all else, and let the pieces fall where they may.

I say that putting on a military uniform does not magically absolve you of bad and immoral and illegal decisions and behavior.

I say I rebuke the bellicose bullying of you and people like you - the sociopath running this country currently.

And I also say that I have a brother who served in Korea, and another brother who served TWO TOURS in Viet Nam, and if you are "offended" by what comes out of *MY* mouth, man-oh-man you should hear THEM!

And finally, I have no "artifical sentiment" whatsoever for our soldier's "mission" as I have always, from Day One, been quite vocal about the fact that bush is a murderer and a criminal for sending our troops into an impossible, illegal situation.

People like you are the reason our military's morale suffers so.

Both my brothers say so.

you might have something there...the 'Carpetbagger" who develops a sudden southern drawl when campaigning in Alabama.

Personifies a 'Strong, Independent Woman' when catering to career women....Yet, develops 'damsel-in-distress', weak-knee'ed, jelly-back'ed syndrome when members of her own party challenges her positions on issues/policies.
