i took a test after 5 days, then 9 days but the result was the same.
my boyfriend and i never used contraception but he never came inside me, silly i know but after this scare im sure ill be more cautious.
I have been up to 3 days late before but im getting slightly anxious. my breasts arent tender but im bloated, i have slight lower back pain, i thought i was going to faint in work last week and felt unusually tired, i have a slightly different discharge and i feel like i constantly have sick at the back of my throat but havent actually been sick. i also feel quite teary and emotional.

how long should i wait before taking another test or consulting my doctor?

Take one more test (a different test brand) and if it still comes out negative, call him/her anyway. It could be any number of things - stress, changes in life, or even just convincing yourself that you're pregnant, you may be making yourself feel those symptoms. Relax and just call your doctor! Make sure to write down the dates (last period, when you had sex - if you remember when, when you were supposed to get your period, and when you took those tests). If you're not pregnant, tell your doc to hook u up with some birth control pills so that you dont' have to worry yourself again until you're ready to have children!!

I hope everything works out for the best...

if you're under a lot of stress/pressure, not eating right or sleeping right, or doing strenous exercises [athletic wise] it could affect your period by delaying it. i read somewhere that athletes don't get their period very often or it's extremely irregular, like gymnasts. i would suggest taking another pregnancy test soon and if it still comes up negative, i guess go to the doctors since you said you always get your period on time. 2 weeks late is late by a lot compared to it always being on time!

The earlier in the pregnancy, the less accurate the tests will be. From the history you gave, it is possible to be pregnant. I advise continuing to test yourself as well as seeing your doctor, whether is it a pregnancy or another cause.

Even if your boyfriend does not ejaculate in you, that doesn't mean that he's not sharing sperm (they are in pre-ejac).
I'm not going to say that the symptoms you are having aren't pregnancy but I also want to point out that you may have yourself incredibly freaked out.
You should probably go to a dr to get an official test just to be certain.

wait for about 1 week and then take another test. But then again it could be stress and then you may need to see the doctor.

a pregnancy test is not going to be accurate until six weeks from the first day of your last period, you've been testing too early.
