It seems that we're in a real quandary about healthcare in this country. We want it to be the best, and we want it to be available to everyone at minimal cost. But those two things just don't go together. Socializing healthcare would be a disaster; just look at Canada where people die while on the waiting list for lifesaving procedures like heart bypasses.

Typical Republican! Why give the country health care when you can fund more war. What is the $$$ shortage for the war to rid Iraq of weapons of mass destruction, that they didn't have to begin with? Maybe it was also to stop Saddam from providing free health care for all Iraqi's.

You know what - I got charges over a $1000 US for a hospital visit to the ER for my son. The doctor (Mr. Shithead) spent about a total of 5 minutes examining my son's arm, then sent him for an X-ray where the machine kept eating them and they kept having to twist my son's arm to take more and more pictures, then let us sit for 3 hours, all to be told that it was a sprain and bruised. Then I took him to his dr for her to look at it spend maybe 10 minutes with us at a charge of $81 US to write a scrip for another set of X-rays in a weeks time and another one for my son not to take gym for 2 weeks and that would call for 2 more rechecks at $81 US/each. So you know, get off your preachy-*** horse and come down to reality - it all boils down to greed! Democrat and Republican (especially) alike. We are fighting the wrong people. We should have gone after bin Laden and those idiots, not the ones we are currently fighting with. Isn't it strange that the current Prez is an oil man, comes from an oil family and here we are fighting in an oil laden nation? HMM, it doesn't take rocket science to put 2 and 2 together. Either way you look at it you get 4 (that means more - more oil). Are you making a killing with Bush in office 8 years - probably not, so shut it! They said there would be hell to pay if Bush was elected and he stole the election, etc..., and I don'[t know about you but I really don't like paying $3.09 a gallon for gas! Health care is through the roof! Something needs to be done about these doctors that think - oh insurance - let me gauge it for all I can so this person's rates go through the roof so then they won't be able to afford it. Crack down on worker's comp claims (employees - oh I got a paper cut, let me claim PTD (permanent and total disability) and sit on my lazy *** while I drive up health ins costs for all my co-workers while I play it to the hilt , its as bad if not worse than welfare - and there will be plenty of money to cover health care. Employers not following safety regulations is another area - fine them! You want to stop global warming - I know that big-*** stink bomb of a city or big industry truck on the free way sure as sh*t did not pass the E-check test - and those factories with those smoking chmney stacks - you don't see them getting an E check - where's the fines? Don't talk to me about government and money - I could find plenty of it to do the right things.
PS sorry for the ranting - I'm having a bad day - but what I said is true, none the less harsh - but true!

Typical republicans. did you read about all the money the government gives to enrich the companies that supply things to suppor the IRAQ war.. Do you want mandatory corporate welfare to continue or do you want health care for our own people.

We don't need mandatory health care. We need to take capitalism out of hospital care and pharmaceuticals, making insurance affordable.

It would cost a lot less to have national health care than it would to fund the war.
