even higher, does that finally make it acceptible to right-wingers that conflict(war) and the actions of the President does affect oil prices? Or do they still wish to deny all of reality as liberal bias?

Wrong deek, there have been many arguments were right-wingers claim that actions by the Bush admin isn't reponsible. even asking sensless questions about blaming him for every day problems to trivialize what is his fault.
You can find many statments here on yahoo from Bushies claiming what you said no one has if you bother to look.

Try to explain how the tensions with Iran are solely on the US????

Wasn't it Israel who bombed Syria because THEY were developing a nuke? Hmmmm. I think the tension is in the entire region and has very little to do with us other than the rhetoric coming from the White House. Just wait. If/when Iran procures nukes, it won't be us striking first, believe that.

OPEC controls the price of oil depending on how much profit they wish to make. There is no shortage of oil. The wells are not drying up. OPEC is being greedy. This should be all the more reason for the USA to drill in Alaska where we KNOW there is oil. Too bad "virgin wilderness" is more important than our nation's desire to be less fuel dependent on the Middle East.
