Considering your schools success v. Penn State it might be no more special than beating Minnesota or Indiana, so where does the PSU game rank?

I know they are big games for Penn State. I'm wondering how the other schools see it though.

that's what I was afraid of, and sort of suspected. Hard to believe that PSU won 3 of the first 4 times v. Meeshegan...ages ago.

From a Michigan fan perspective, it is a lower end rivalry, mainly because PSU can't beat Michigan. It would fall below Notre Dame, MSU, OSU(obviously) and probably Minnesota.

PSU is a big game for the bucks. Depending on records, it is on par with wisconsin. There is a hatred for wisconsin, that isn't there for penn state. At least for me. Until the last couple years, the penn state OSU game was usually decided by whoever had home field advantage.

For weeks human beings have been speaking with reference to the "rattling Ohio State" on our schedule... After seeing how Penn State had rolled over each and every opponent with a scoring margin of 363-ninety 4 (269 factors), many have replaced thier strategies. final 12 months they have been finding for an upset in satisfied Valley, and this 12 months they're going to ahve one on the horse Shoe. Penn State is spectacular on the two facets of the ball, and that they could pop out with a win of a minimum of 14 factors! we are... PENN STATE!!!

Ironically I am a Wolverine fan and I live in PA. PA is a frenzy during Penn State football season so, for me, this game is always huge. I get picked on for being a Michigan fan so it's always a good feeling after a big win. Penn State fans also get hyped about Michigan and OSU games every year, no matter how good they are.

yeah kind of just another game, but it has been a better game for the last 4 or 5 years than it has in the past. I think all Big Ten games are important. It sounds like some Michigan fans might not take it as seriously.

Eh...they're not as big and scary as they once were. I'm sure of that.
BUT, I wouldn't trow them under the bus with Indiana and Minnesota. They're not THAT lowly. I think Illinois and Wisconsin sort of took Penn State's place as the teams that probably won't win the Big Ten Title, but can potentially mess up another team's chances in their quest for it.
