Not yet.....still watching the debates etc. The "mud" slinging is just beginning.

Personally I refuse to pay any attention at this point. Well beyond a basic peripheral view that is. I know who the candidates are, but beyond that I don't care. I am an independent so I won't really to start to pay attention until after the primaries. You are correct that campaigning did not start this early in the past. My fear is that this will drive more voters away through extreme apathy by the time the election actually occurs. If you are wondering why so many candidates started early the answer is simple. Those with large campaign war chests force other potential candidates into the race early. By doing so they can assure that at least some of the competition will not have the funds to last. When the funds run out they will be forced to drop out of the race essentially clearing the field for the large money set.

No, I'm watching the debates, and getting very discouraged. It looks to me like this is a pretty skeezy bunch on both sides of the aisle. At least the fron runners. Clinton, Obama, Edwards, Giulliani, Thompson, Romney all seem like the same old pandering politicians I've come to know and despise. There is little chance that someone I like will make it through the primaries.
Where is Steven Colbert when we need him. Wouldn't a Colbert, O'Reilly ticket be a lot more fun than the lying, conniving creeps that the parties are offering?

I don't care about primaries or parties. I'm an independent and I refuse to vote along with a party. I vote with whats on my mind.
With that said, no, I do not know, but i can almost promise you that it will not be the nominee for either party.

Not one of those candidates, Republican nor Democrat had shown me anything to this point. There are a few who I definitely will NOT vote for, but no pluses yet. Someone needs to emerge and talk seriously about a REAL platform and not what the other candidates have of haven't done.

You are right about changing as information as it comes out. I was leaning towards Richardson until he started sucking up to Hillary. Now, I'll probably vote for John Edwards. If Hillary does get the nomination, I have no idea what I'll do.

Yes, Huckabee, I've known him all his life and he is as stright as a string.. He won't lie for a vote. Unlike the other person that lived in Arkansas for the time her husband was Gov.

depends on who wins in their respective primaries. Before we will know who is on the 08 tickets for president.
That said if my candidate does win his primary then I will vote for him in November but if he doesn't win then I don't have a clue who I will choose.
