Would you mind spelling this right?

I suppose that a block mountain is a block of a mountain - a large stone?

Is it a mountain where faults have slipped vertically on both sides so that the resulting mountain looks like a squared off block?

Considering your spelling ability (eg - skool, rite, wut etc), you may also be meaning "Black Mountain" by any chance?

Black Mountain is a name of a mountain in Canberra, the capital of Australia. It is where the Telstra Tower is.

Are you perhaps thinking of "Block Mounting" which is a method of picture mounting on a block, rather than stretched and fastened into a frame.
