obvouisly the yahoo servers are right wing fanatics
- maybe their motherboards should be replaced with more liberal processors to make to make YA more fair and balanced.

I know it works both ways - this is a joke - I saw 2 cons claiming they were getting violations because YA has a "liberal bias"

If you get a violation notice, report it to customer service and they will review it. I got a violation notice to a question in politics and got it restored after a review. My theory is that if enough of us make the yahoo staff review violation notices they'll have to do something about it.

I keep reading about the multitude of violations and suspended accounts. I've been posting in politics for months and I've received a few violations. Honestly, I've deserved MOST of the violations I received (but certainly not ALL).
Follow the rules, answer the questions and be respectful and you probably won't get as many.
By the way, I'm a liberal.

I usually ask the same question again and again if they delete it.
And always dispute that arbitration process.
Ive had plenty of questions removed, but then reinstated.
Republicans dont like to answer the tough questions.
It could be one or two people hounding you.
Thats why I had to make my profile private because someone was following me around reporting my every question and Y/A was dumb enough to remove them.
just remember, theres plenty of ignorant people here.
Dont take it person.
Heck, I have 8000 points that couldnt buy me a stick of gum.
Its entertainment and a good way to gather support for petitions.

No matter what you say in politics its going to piss off someone.
Too many people enjoy reporting for no reason. Be respectful and it shouldnt be too much of a problem. You cant stop the crazies, but at least the sane people arent too bad.

Join the club, you will get violations if you answer every question with innocuous answers, someone will disagree and report you for nothing.
Both parties are being reported by children who have no party affiliation because they are not old enough to vote and in some cases cant spell party.

It's kind of ironic isn't it? I have the very same problem, except the other way around. LMAO now someone is going to all of my answers reporting violations. I've had 4 violation emails since I answered this question.

political questions are something that should not be asked here because both sides have opinions and will get offended if they see something negative about their side but if you answer them answer them without really saying anything in true political form . say maybe could be or i don't know those three answers are not going to offend anyone and are answers without harm

I report no one who doesn't display blatantly hateful speech or profanity.
I have, to the best of my knowledge, never been reported so I don't accuse Liberals of petty reporting.
Perhaps some people on either side don't play fair, but I feel if you can't debate intelligently the viewpoints of others, you're pathetic if you report them.

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Yahoo Answers..! Those of us who've been around for awhile just ignore violation notices because they mean nothing.

Boy you got that right brother. Isn't it amazing that anyone would be so insulted by something on a post here that they would run to Mommy Y/A and I guess claim "that's not fair" whaaaaaaaa. These people must go thru life waiting to be insulted.
