I think everyone is entitled to their opinion, but yeven if you're not too fond of them, you should always be civil and never be rude.

What do you think?

I had a "friend" who was always rude to my husband and was never supportive of my marriage. Along with that, she was being a bad and b!tchy friend in other ways too. I had to let her go.

The significant other is part of the whole package. diss one you diss the other. If I have a problem with a friend’s other half, I find ways to spend time with the friend and not the other.

Never be rude, it just puts a wedge between the friendship.

I agree. My friend Vanessa use to date this guy I could not stand when we were 16, words can not describe how much I despised that guy but I kept my mouth shut and acted civil because I know how much Vanessa cared about him until he started treating her like crap and left her for someone else.

i agree...

until my friends significant (or not so significant) other gets in my face or is blatantly rude to me... the best way to "get under someone's skin" is to not let it bother you... but if they talk bad about my friend or are bad to my friend... they are looking for a fight (nothing physical... but i will stick up for my friends)

Well, by virtue of being rude, that would make it rude. Otherwise, you would use a word besides "rude", no?
