My wife and I are thinking about moving to Ft. Collins. We want to get some opinions on what life is like there. We love the outdoors, are family oriented, and want a good quality of life. What do you like or dislike about Ft. Collins?

I grew up there. It's a good choice.

I didn't like the winters, but compared to other parts of the country their winters are mild. I didn't realize that when I was 18. When I go there now I don't like how dry the climate is, but you get used to that after awhile. At first you dry up like a raisin.

I don't like when the wind blows from the south east - you can smell the feed lots.

I don't like that there is so much open land, yet they build the new homes so close together.

I love northern Colorado Mexican food, they have their own unique spin on tex-mex food.
