i have been trying to conceive for about 1 year-have been off the pill for 15 months. i have irregular periods ranging from 5 weeks but more commonly 8 weeks. i have had 2 sets of hormone blood tests amongst others which initially showed abnormal lh and progesterone levels but the next set were normal. i now have to go back for more. i think when i have a 5 week cycle i ovulate (v rare though!) but when i have my more common 8 week cycle i don't.
i have very bad ovary pain sometimes too (not mid cycle) and my skin has got bad. i have also put on weight.
could pcos be a possible cause?

Thank you!

here is my answer:
pcso could be definately a possible cause you got all the symptoms. Plus ovary pain could indicate you have somethin wrong with your ovary, as in a cyst that has not burst you need an ultrasound to figure this out.

Anyway do wa i told you to do to get in touch with doc steele

Based on your symptoms it's very possible that you could have PCOS. I would recommend consulting an endocrinologist (a doctor that diagnoses and treats diseases and disorders that relate to hormones such as PCOS) to see what they say.
