How do you turn on the Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) on a 02' chevy tahoe?

My old work truck was an 02 silverado and to turn them on or off you just have to push the interior light button next to the headlight switch on AND off twice quickly.

It's automatic. Start truck and put it in gear and they should come on. This is for Canada.
